The great David Hockney. 🌅

Lets talk today about one of my favourite Pop artist

David Hockney ! I first discovered his vibrant paintings and it heavily influenced my art and animation. Which I will show at the end.

This great artist is 84 years old and i tell you his career isn't slowing down. He his currently the most expensive living artist selling, Portrait of an Artist (Pool with Two Figures) (1972) at Christie’s for $80 million at the hammer, or $90.3 million

the $80 million painting.

I created this post because his work make me smile.

Finally, i was watching one of my favourite shows Bojack horseman and isaw the frame below. So i decided to make an acrylic version of (Pool with Two Figures) (1972).

But mine is from a different angle.
