Did you know there’s nothing like a Seagull?

On a quiet Wednesday morning I took a walk to one of the biggest park in Manchester. There they create a lake specifically for different “gulls” it consists of Canadian gooses, Ducks and a bunch of other birds.

A lovely man walked up to me, joining me in my gaze, and narrating his traditions of walking this path daily.

I wish I had asked when he began doing this.

He had a little book of birds and binoculars. He decided to point out his favourite bird. In which me as usual, asked him to tell me a bit more about these gulls the first thing he said was did you know theres nothing like a seagull, I replied confused 'huh?' he said each seagull has its own name but people started to call all types of gulls seagulls because the names where too many.
